Triple Triumph at CommunityVotes 2023

We're super excited to share that we have won THREE fantastic awards at the CommunityVotes Pickering 2023 Awards!
Big cheers for earning Platinum in both Childcare Services and the After School Program, and Silver in Daycare! These awards are a huge nod to the support we get from our amazing community.
A huge thanks to our dedicated AVMS Teachers and everyone in the community for believing in Angus Valley Montessori Pickering. These three awards strengthen our commitment to providing the best care and a nurturing learning environment.

On Thursday, December 7th, 2023, we hosted our Annual Holiday Concert at the Deer Creek Golf Club. Parents, students, and teachers reveled in a festive atmosphere and were treated to adorable performances by our talented young stars!

CELEBRATING OUR FIRST ANNIVERSARY OCTOBER 17, 2021

Thank you to all our special guests including City of Pickering’s Deputy Mayor and Councillors, families, educators and friends who joined us to celebrate our First Anniversary. Since opening our doors last year, we’ve received overwhelming support from area families and it was a pleasure to see so many friendly faces on this special occasion. We enjoyed touring you through our bright and spacious facility, introducing you to our incredible team and sharing our approach to nurturing infant care and custom Montessori programs for ages 18 months to 6 years.

WE ARE NOW OPEN!

We are officially open and excited to welcome new families to AVM Pickering. We have many students enrolled and great interest from the community! We invite you to book a private tour by contacting us through email or calling 647-417-4444. You can begin the process by registering. OPENING IN OCTOBER 2020!

Welcome our new supervisor! Anu Wijesekera has 20 years of experience and was head teacher at our flagship school Angus Glen Montessori for five years. She took a year off to complete her Early Child Education Diploma, and has joined the AVM Pickering team. She’s looking forward to introducing you to our new education centre, with tours starting in late September. Please go here to book a tour.

OPEN HOUSE SEPT 22 AND 29, 2020

Our first AVM Pickering OPEN HOUSES were a great success. Thank you to all the families who came to learn more about the centre, meet some of our team members and see interior plans and designs for the school.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

Construction has fully resumed and we are working towards opening for the new school year, in September 2020. The safety of our students, families and staff is top priority and we will ensure the new school and childcare centre meets Ontario Health requirements.
